Our Story

Honoring brief lives with compassionate care

Hands holding each other in support

Our Mission

As an organization, we may provide guidance, tangible goods, and support to families experiencing the crisis of losing a baby. We strive to model the unconditional love demonstrated by our Heavenly Father.

We recognize the loss of a child is significant and life-changing. We seek to honor the brief lives of the 'least of these' (Matthew 25:40) by serving families with a helpful and compassionate response.

Our Vision

We are a faith-based organization conceived to be a transforming influence in the lives of those responding to one of the most difficult and troubling events imaginable: the death of a baby.

Recognizing the loss of a child is significant and life-changing, we seek to honor the brief lives of the 'least of these' (Matthew 25:40) by serving families with a helpful and compassionate response.

Couple supporting each other

Our History

It all begins with love.

AgapéCare Cradle, Inc. was founded in 2003 as a nonprofit, specialized mortuary exclusively serving families suffering the loss of a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death. A model program was developed and implemented which focused on providing services and support to address the special needs of such families.

In 2012, AgapéCare Cradle relinquished its mortuary license to facilitate a broader focus on advocacy, guidance, and support to parents during the loss of a child. As a faith-based organization, we endeavor to demonstrate the love of Christ by tending to the practical, emotional, and spiritual needs of bereaved parents and siblings.

We honor the "least of these" (Matthew 25:40) in recognition of the absolute intrinsic value of all made in God's image, even the smallest and most frail.
